Funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, this project explores extractive energy development projects throughout the western hemisphere and the vast community resistance to them.

This project began as a two-day workshop at York University hosting participants from across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Guyana, Jamaica, and Nigeria.
